| There’s no limit to
what you can switch. Live camera sources, digitized clips, and
graphics cued up in the DDR, or even physical decks controlled via
the Toaster Xternal Control are at your command while you switch
3D DVE’s, overlays and key in real-time, all the while keeping
an eye on the show with multiple ToasterVision displays (preview
and program out at right).
Preview, Program and Key rows
operate just as any other switcher. Fire up a trio of Toaster
Vision monitors onscreen, and you now have a fulltime view of each
row’s inputs. Camera inputs, deck inputs, or digitized Toaster
clips are all ready to be called up on the switcher.
This is the heart of the Video
Toaster [2] Live Switcher is the SX-8 Expansion Module (below) -
offering component, Y/C or composite ins and outs, along with
audio, tally, GPI and machine control.
