Some motherboards have problems with AppianX
Some users have reported not getting any video output
when they install an AppianX graphics card in their computer. Appian
Graphics' technical support says that some motherboards cannot boot
properly if a multifunction VGA card like the AppianX is used. To
test if a motherboard has this problem, the user can move the jumper block
on jumper JP10 of the AppianX from the middle two pins to the bottom two
pins. This will disable the multifunction VGA capability on the
AppianAGX graphics processor that is used during boot up and change the
AppianX so that it supports three monitors. If the computer then
functions normally the user should contact the manufacturer of their
motherboard and find out when a BIOS update will be available that will
add multifunction VGA support. Once the BIOS has been updated the
jumper block on JP10 can be moved back to the original position.
