TitleMotion 3.5 and Velocity 7.5 compatibility issue
Adam at Inscriber technical support has informed us of a
compatibility issue between the Velocity 7.5 software from Leitch/DPS-US and
the current 3.5 version of TitleMotion for the dpsVelocity. The
TitleMotion 3.5 software depends on the presence of a previous Inscriber
software installation in order for TitleMotion to install and run
properly. Since Inscriber CG was included with the Velocity software
up until the 7.1 release this was not a problem. As of Velocity
version 7.5, it no longer includes Inscriber CG so TitleMotion doesn't
work. Adam has put a file on the Inscriber
ftp site
that you can download and install. Once this program is installed on
your system you can successfully install TitleMotion 3.5. Inscriber
is getting ready to release TitleMotion 4.2 for the dpsVelocity and this
will install on a system using Velocity 7.5 without any problems.
