Vegas and DVD Architect updates released
Sonic Foundry has updated Vegas to version 4.0c and DVD Architect to version 1.0c.  The Vegas patch fixes several bugs including RGB values when rendering MPEG files, saving markers to a media file in the Trimmer window, rendering QuickTime files using fractional frame rates, offset CD tracks when burning multiple copies of a disc and choosing custom frame rates when rendering non-DV AVI files.  The DVD patch fixes some problems in playback speed on some DVD players and also resolves issues with MPEG-2 levels.  Both updates can be downloaded for free from the Sonic Foundry web site

Sonic Foundry updates Vegas and DVD Architect
Sonic Foundry has released updates to both Vegas 4.0 and DVD Architect 1.0 that add significant new features, as well as fix a few bugs.  Vegas 4.0b now supports the Panasonic AG-DVX100 24p
(24 frames per second, progressive scan) camcorder so you can now shoot and edit 24p digital video.  Frame sizes of 2048x2048 are now allowed for file types such as AVI, MPEG, RealMedia, Windows Media and QuickTime while the RealMedia 9, Windows Media 9 and MPEG-2 plug-ins now have HD rendering templates.  The Vegas 4.0b update can be downloaded for free from the Sonic Foundry web site.  DVD Architect 1.0b has also been updated to support the AG-DVX100.  Rendering MPEG-2 video output with the new 24p settings uses less space on a DVD than the standard 60i (60 fields per second, interlaced) available previously.  This update can also be downloaded for free from the Sonic Foundry web site.
